Poll test

In preparation for the 40kaddict terrain competition here's a little poll test based on my existing Print & Play templates. Should anyone wish to attempt try multiple votes please let me know in the comments so I can check and see how the security works. Although I suppose you could still 'employ' a load of facebook friends to spoof votes it'll be interesting to see what mechanisms the poll has to prevent this, so please click away below:

  1. Using Chrome on Nexus 7, voted number 4, cleared browser history and voted again, but looks like only registered first vote.

    1. Thanks Alun, will probably have a page with multiple pictures of everybodies entries then a poll where folk can click on one representative shot.

  3. I clicked and voted so it worked! unfortunately they didn't re-set the matrix afterwards.

Have you considered not linking the entries to names/asking people not to mobilise their fanbase to vote for them? I don't know how you'd keep track of that, it would have to be done on Honour. and I don't know how you'd stop secondary votes from devices either, without asking people to sign into their google account before voting?

    1. Yeah, there's definitely going to have to be an honesty element involved but I think I'm going to have the last say anyway. I'll take into account the voting but ultimately I'll make a decision based what I think is the best picture/example, which makes me think I should have a second and third prize...

  4. From IE11 I was able to vote for #2 three times in succession by simply refreshing the page between views.
