Adeptus Titanicus - Extra Warlord titan weapons - TO DONE! ⚪

Afternoon #Warhammer Community I've been #PaintingWarhammer on my additional Warlord Titan weapons. These came together really quickly as I thought we had a Thursday gaming session coming up. But instead my son had his monthly Teenage Cancer Trust social event. So they've not been used yet.

Decals were their usual fiddly self. I split the black cog symbol, tried to remove a bit from the middle so it wasn't too distorted but it is a bit rugby ball shaped rather than a circle.

The inner side of the Quake cannon's armour is just grey.

The second [right-hand] cannon has the heraldry colours I've been using. Quartered for the House Raven affiliation, Titan honour badge, Dark Angels affiliation and the black and yellow chevron - will this ever be my AdMech army? Who knows?

Inner armour grey, as it should be.

The Conversion Beamer, the Aethermatic Blue isn't Blessed Verdigris 🗽BTW. It's either some aetheric glow, or the metal has anodised in a similar way to a thermal bloom.

I maybe could have done red cables on this but I just wanted to get them done.

And having only the upper armour plates meant these were quicker to get through.

I mean they are rough, but good enough when put alongside the rest of the titan.

And the extra Warglaive thermal lances

I used Stormfiend Contrast paint in the melta heat bloom.

I think I got much richer colours on that than my older one [the on in the middle]. But again, very consistent with this technique nowadays.

Great Big Chrome Stamps of Approval according to my spreadsheet this is worth 8 points. Therefore, this brings me up to 206 points for the season so far.

And just to finish off some pics of the new weapons on my Warlord.

The Extirpator gives 2 shots, rather than the 1 of the Volcano cannon. Both draining and the Conversion Beamer has a slightly shorter range but worth the extra few points.

The alternate weapons

And close-ups.

The Quake is a definite choice at only 20 points. It might be only Strength 9 but the Concussive rule might prove valuable too.

Adeptus Titanicus - Extra Warlord titan weapons

Afternoon #Warhammer Community I've been #PaintingWarhammer some extra Warlord titan weapons. Liam was able to find some .stl files for the Quake Cannon and Conversion Beam Extirpator. With the Quake Cannon not having the Draining trait it's a reasonable compromise instead of a Volcano Cannon. Not quite as strong but less intensive on the plasma reactor. Anyway, this was after priming and some base coats.

Here's some additional highlights on the metallics and some of the armour plates had their base colours added. Alongside this I had a couple of extra Melta Lances for Armiger Warglaives. I'd previously had some 3D printed ones that burst apart because the resin had never fully cured inside. An interesting lesson, hopefully these titan weapons avoid that issue, they do have a couple of vent holes in so I have faith any emissions have somewhere to escape [if that's how it works?].

As these required no building and do not come with a base there are now Hobby Season Stamps I can give, BOO!

Battle Record - Adeptus Titanicus 26/03/26

Afternoon and after a couple of weeks where I couldn't attend Otty's shed I'm back! And we're starting a new game of Adeptus Titanicus - we're masochists! 🤣

Liam decided to field 3 Warlords, whereas I wanted more titanic feet on the ground with 2 Warhounds, 2 Reavers and a Warlord with Quake Cannon and Conversion Beam Extirpator. It did mean that I ended up with a lot of weapons suitable for stripping shields, but only a few that could deliver the killing blow

Knowing how Liam usually plays [at the back of the board] I was overjoyed to get the Hold the Line mission that meant I get more points depending on how close he is to my board edge. He and Ben had pulled table quarters, so he was also at a disadvantage as he could only score 3 out of 4. I decided to fire a Concealment Barrage which forced Liam to move a bit so his titans could still shoot.

But it turned out their chaos 'blessed' titans were a little more grumpy than expected and one decided to just charge through the city in the middle of the board. Giving it lots of cover, to my annoyance.

Otty and I sent the Warhounds forward, pushing the reactor, which promptly went into the orange, which caused a shutdown of its void shields. With no protection left the Warlord pounded it until it fell silent. In return we sent a tracer cloud toward the advancing Warlord, but any benefit for shooting through the cover was lost as Quake Cannon fire spun it out of the tracer cloud. At least it's approach had been stalled.

Further shots slammed into it I think taking out most of its weapons and putting a few structure points on the body and head. I think a lot of our other Titans were doing OK, but the unnecessary loss of that Warhound was really frustrating.

We'd held onto first player for the three turns we managed to play. Liam and and Ben's advance had put them in a  good position.

But if we could take out one or both of their Warlords that had pushed forward and contest each of the quarters with our own Titans we may well tip the scales in our favour.

I think we were starting to grasp things a lot more this time around. The game was much quicker and easier to follow. However, coming to the conclusion that Void Shield Relays are massively OP. I mean we both had them but Liam and Ben barely took a void sheild of our Warlord. Every time they suggested targeting it was followed by 'what's the point?'. We may well house rule them out of use in future. The game feels a little unproductive with them in it and getting all the void shields down makes it more tactical to avoid this and the game quicker if you don't.

We should finish it off next week.

Adeptus Titanicus - Cream battlefield assets, terminal pins and markers - TO DONE! 🔴⚪

Afternoon #Warhammer Community I've been #PaintingWarhammer on my Adeptus Titanicus - Battlefield assets, terminal pins and markers and no, it's not deja vu! Again... We had another set of battlefield assets and I thought they'd look cool in cream and bronze.

Also, Liam needed a Titan head marker that matched his basing style, rather than the one I did on Red Planet BASE! ðŸ”´

I did want to go with more Blessed Verdigris 🗽 for these but forgot just how much I'd done on the red assets

Still, I really like doing these and getting to explore different colours schemes for them.

It's a shame you don't really get to use more than a couple of them per game.

Also, Otty made his own Eldar themed ones. Which is as it should be, but it does mean that our current game is only using one of my sets.

And even then I put a Void Shield Generator in the wrong place so my Titans are getting ZERO benefit from it. Liam is very grumpy with me! 🤣

I am very pleased I managed to match his basing though. It's not a 100% perfect but so close it's almost weird trying to work out why it's not spot on.

Arc templates. I wanted something that was a bit more 'steampunk'

And I just love these ones so much'

The patinaed bronze, cream and then the red glass inserts, fabulous.

Now, I did not do the terminal pins. As annoying as it is that we have another set that is unpainted they have all bee cut from the sprue. Finding a way to paint them all individually was not a task I was willing to do when I've so much else I could enjoy painting instead. So they are left for now, we've more than enough.

Great Big Chrome Stamps of Approval according to my spreadsheet this is worth 13 points. Plus a 5 point terrain bonus, it's a bit cheeky under the circumstance. But, the premise of the bonus is you are doing something for the benefit of everyone, not just painting your own grey pile of shame. These are terrain pieces and they are for other to use, so it qualifies. Therefore, this brings me up to 186 points for the season so far.

Here are the pics on a white background.
