Luckily for me, as I'm short of content today [and maybe Wednesday], the latest Blog Wars info has been released Blog Wars 9 - King in the North so I thought I'd share.
If it hasn't been apparent already I love this tournament and I'll definitely be doing my utmost to support Alex to ensure it continues to be a success. Hopefully my gaming buddies will join me again, and anyone who reads the blog (if it isn't too difficult to attend).

The focus is more on the Dark Angels at the moment but there is the Carnifex, Stealers and Malanthrope (who isn't BW legal) lurking in the background. I will most probably try and take some Tyrranocytes given they're legal now and I've still not had chance to use my old converted drop pods.
DeleteI'll be there, eagerly awaiting more information as you seem to be. It'll be my first time (actually, my first tournament full stop) so keen to take part and see what it's all about. Several of my club buddies are planning on attending too.

I'll keep an eye on it Nick. Although I do have an well deserved fear of Dark Eldar ( from bitter experience) it may be worth checking out my mate Liam's blog. Bluewarpstudios he took DE for BW8 and came last :( but he hadva great time and won loads of stuff, particularly in the painting, his work is insane, but the raffle too. Worth it to see what did and didn't work. He faced Alex in the final match so you can read the battle report on fromthefang
DeleteYeah I remember reading the report at the time and thinking how nice his dark eldar looked. My list is fairly different to his though in fairness - no tournie experience but it's doing ok at the moment at my club against lists when I tell people to bring competitive stuff.

ReplyDeleteWell hopefully there'll be something new. There's plenty of time to fill my perceived obligation to the Fallen AND do some new nids, although nothing ground breaking. As I said above Tyrannocytes will make an appearance but it depends on the army requirements. Alex said there will be a post on Wednesday (to add to what's already on the site) so we'll see how it is.
