That's right, 16 years! I've said many times over that I do the blog purely as a record of what I've achieved. Just 2 year's ago I was commenting about numbers at 3.6 million views and now we're over 8.4 million.
I said then I didn't hold any store by them, and I distrust them even more now. So lets go back to real figures. 16 years, that's nearly a third of my life spent hobby blogging! I've published 2,377 posts with over 6,300 comments [not including the lost Google+ years]. This is real engagement from people that I really appreciate, even if I haven't always had chance to respond, I try my best.
The battle records continue to be a source of pleasure on the blog. I think I might ocsassionally be putting in too much detail which undermines my attempts to streamline the process. But again, I'm doing my best. I think I've hit that point now where the very idea of not blogging in some way just seems impossible. So we'll just have to see how things go for the next sweet 16!
