#DreadTober Adeptus Titanicus - Warhound Titans - TO DONE! 🔴

Afternoon #WarhammerCommunity it's the eighth of #DreadTober2026 and I've been #PaintingWarhammer on my Adeptus Titanicus Warhound Titans and they are TO DONE!

And you can see finally their weaponry too. This was one of the reasons for adding to my Warhounds - the new weapons available from the Legions Imperialis box.

Some of them seem a little situational, but the Swarmer Missiles load out looks a no-brainer. The Melta Lance might be OK, but with a 6"/10" -1 accuracy you have to get very close to get the benefit.

But the other bonus, and I may be incorrect is Warhounds can come in a squadron of 3? If so sharing Void Shields on 3 Warhounds in a pack seems really annoying to whomever you're playing against!

But I have 6 of them now so if it's correct I could run two squads of three.

Anyway, the other weapons also got done. I still have a metal Ursus claw from original Adeptus Titanicus.

The Volkite Eradicator looks OK, but it's Draining so I'm not overly keen on a Warhound.

The Natrix Shock Lance might be quite good too. But again it's a very short range and also Draining.

But I think it bypasses Void Shields so it could be awesome if it can get withing range do it's trick.

Overall I'm just really pleased with the finished result. They are slightly different than my other Warhounds, but also follow my existing template enough.

The blue Warhound is the biggest departure, with no yellow on the titan at all. It's only represented on the weapons.

However, this will hopefully match up with my other 'blue' Warhound which itself looked our of place.

I felt more blue was needed to try and cement it as an accent colour rather than an aberration.

And with that I get the third  Great Big Amber Stamp of Approval .

And surprise, surprise the Acastus Knight Porphyrions 'stretch goal' was also met.

Now I've definitely made more compromises than usual on these. Not just to meet the deadline.

But I was also losing patience and even though I found some elements easier to do than they appeared there were some that were deceptive and I was just done with trying to accommodate them.

Lets start with decals. I just couldn't entertain them. Aside from the skull cogs on the groin banners I just didn't want to faff around. And there is a definite itch telling me I should. Something on the side gun panels at least. But the patterns would be obscured.

Maybe big numbers on the missile launcher carapace top left? But there isn't a lot of room for them and the chevron would be obscured.

So I didn't bother.

Blessed Verdigris 🗽was also an issue. The right Porphyrion had every brassy bronze rivet blessed. But when I came to the left one I was spent so just blessed the lower legs.

I'm much less concerned about this as an issue as Verdigris manifests in many different ways and I think both of these are valid representations.

However, rivets as a whole have been overlooked. Usually I add them in my knights and you would think the bigger knights would deserve them.

But there are dozens and dozens. I refer back to my issue with adding battle damage to these - they'd just be too busy. I think it'd be overwhelming with all the rivets painted, especially when my ability to paint them does not scale - paint a rivet the same size on epic as well as 40k size. So it really life the painted rivets would be bigger than my head!

Anyway, they are 'finished, not perfect', and that is good enough for me. So with my DreadTober pledges complete what is next for me?

And we have the fourth  Great Big Amber Stamp of Approval , another 4 models, 20 points, plus 6 additional weapons which I'm counting as 10 models in total and 26 hobby points for the season.
