Now this seems to make a lot more sense to keep together. It definitely feels like a centrepiece model where a duel could take place leading up the stairs, like in Highlander,
That said, it can be separated and I think there is enough surface area to still fight on top.
I did consider adding magnets into the stonework but it seemed over kill.
Again, a lot of yellow lichen. it could have done with some green instead perhaps.
But I do actually like the very weathered result. Even though I can see a lot of the original zenithal primer.
This both pleases me, because it justifies the effort of doing it in the first place. But, also angers me as it feels like I didn't do the subsequent washes and highlights that the process demands of me.
I am compelled by the process, damned if I do and damned if I don't. Which is why ultimately I just need to say it's done and move on.
The first storey can easily be used as a separate piece of terrain.
Again, I like the result.
Can't wait to get to play on it.
My only regret is these can't form part of my Armies on Parade this year because they're unofficial and I didn't create them 😩 Still, nevermind.
A Great Big Chrome Stamps of Approval according to my spreadsheet this is worth 20 points. So, this brings me up to 143 points for the season so far.
