Hah.

The 'notify me' thing doesn't work though, as far as I can tell, so I suppose there is the risk that bloggers will think nobody is reading their replies.

Google should do something about it. Yes. I'm going to submit a suggestion, or something. Therefore overcoming that 'message in a bottle' concept is the first problem.

Equally the blog owner should make an effort to respond to any and all comments. I try and always respond to comments [except the spam ones ;) ], even if it's just to say thanks or acknowledge someone spent time writing something. In fact I know I still need to respond to my mate Ben's post about ToS.

I think if bloggers responded more then the readers know they can trust their comments are read and considered thus making the comment in the first place is worth the time and effort. 40kaddicthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12763647828123242837noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7125294933155144215.post-38743339255720146942014-04-02T11:53:27.761+01:002014-04-02T11:53:27.761+01:00^ +1 to that. Saying that, very few blogs get much in the way of comments, so it's not just me. But I do think we should all make more effort in that regard. Anyway, congrats on your 400k and ta for giving me something to distract me when I should be doing other things. Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11291633568959822345noreply@blogger.com
