The wrap up videos are always around 360p which sadly isn't great for the quality of hobby on show. 40kaddicthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12763647828123242837noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7125294933155144215.post-49277040370142979612019-09-27T14:03:04.902+01:002019-09-27T14:03:04.902+01:00Which is why I don't like the competitive aspe...Which is why I don't like the competitive aspect, particularly in Armies on Parade. AoP is a celebration of the hobby, it's raw form is what you've achieved and especially for new folk you want to encourage them to participate. As amazing as the very best AoP displays are they can be discouraging for those with limited skill, time or even model count. By embracing the event to showcase what you've painted as opposed to how good we all can paint I think it'd be far more inclusive and enjoyable.

There has to be a prize, I get that, it helps to promote the very best to put in that effort but everyone gets a pin badge for taking part, as well as a Crusader card if you ask for it. Taking part is it's own reward.

I actually have my Armies on Parade article I submitted to GW last year that didn't get published. I should use it here... 40kaddicthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12763647828123242837noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7125294933155144215.post-33711806986666229652019-09-25T21:14:20.071+01:002019-09-25T21:14:20.071+01:00Placing is always nice.
