Lets hope we get a match up next time, no need to worry about my figures, they get tonnes of abuse due to my wacky storage systems!40kaddicthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12763647828123242837noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7125294933155144215.post-44148831087976933582014-06-24T20:29:33.211+01:002014-06-24T20:29:33.211+01:00Nice battle report. Only trouble is your army is so pretty I'll be worried about bouncing dice into a masterpiece all game!Hippo Geek 1https://www.blogger.com/profile/09058660645596133930noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7125294933155144215.post-67451201257756354172014-06-24T19:26:38.845+01:002014-06-24T19:26:38.845+01:00Indeed still 6th, the last huzzah for that edition...Indeed still 6th, the last huzzah for that edition. It had been a little difficult trying to play 7th in pre-game warm ups but most of the rules were mitigated by playing the kill points missions. Obviously the psychic phase is a whole lot different in 7th, extra powers but harder to pull off also my near unkillable flyrant, but one that never gets to assault. 6th did bring some benefits though, no shooting at my Bastion if it's unoccupied!40kaddicthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12763647828123242837noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7125294933155144215.post-33731743230693232002014-06-24T17:30:13.303+01:002014-06-24T17:30:13.303+01:00Was this a 6th edition game or 7th? I'm guessing it was 6th based upon the psychic powers, because your Tervigon should've had Dominion plus another power (seeing as all Tyranid psykers get the primarus for free now).Warhammer39999https://www.blogger.com/profile/07569938624607480660noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7125294933155144215.post-39192991375404984672014-06-23T22:16:13.847+01:002014-06-23T22:16:13.847+01:00I suppose it was quite empty but that central Bast...I suppose it was quite empty but that central Bastion was so imposing, much more than it seems in the pics it kind of made up for the rest. There was enough cover turn 1 at least, by turn 2 you expect to be in the open anyway, you can't always have cover.

Wait till you see the other tables in the two remaining games. To be honest it effects me much less than other people because I pay for my own terrain in Fortifications, so I'm always covered in some way.

Anyway, the issue was raised and there were problems with people setting up their armies before the two guys responsible for dishing out terrain had completed the job so they just left people to get on. Like I say the issue was raised and they'll look to fix things for Blog Wars 8, there was still plenty of terrain knocking around on unused tables.40kaddicthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12763647828123242837noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7125294933155144215.post-39372963765425554882014-06-23T19:24:43.941+01:002014-06-23T19:24:43.941+01:00God Dave, the tables looked worse than warhammer ...God Dave, the tables looked worse than warhammer world, was there any scenery on them? Aside from that, glad to see you using deathleaper for what he is and should be, a first turn threat. I reckon that the no scatter from the big lad is also correct, no scatter means no scatterAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18376529817332130366noreply@blogger.com
