Like anyone is going to steal ideas/up their game after seeing what I'm doing! And it's not like I had any competition at my local GW last year either.

So I shouldn't be worried and the more I document the more people should visit the blog as it seems it's less popular when I'm not doing one of my crazy scratchbuilds/conversions. Of course a half dozen posts of me cutting a gluing wood/insulation foam at the beginning isn't going to pull them in in droves!

It's just difficult to get my head around, I don't want to tip my hand too early and we're over a month away from the actual start date. I may have to share it with you privately ;)40kaddicthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12763647828123242837noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7125294933155144215.post-44786867202467785282014-07-03T23:55:30.778+01:002014-07-03T23:55:30.778+01:00Consider me anxiously awaiting some preliminary sk...Consider me anxiously awaiting some preliminary sketches. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7125294933155144215.post-75751471614660831002014-07-03T09:25:33.454+01:002014-07-03T09:25:33.454+01:00I've no doubts on the execution, winning would...I've no doubts on the execution, winning would be nice but after recent events I'm not doing it primarily for that. I'd hope towin solely for the reason if they do Games Day again this year go on to compete in the finals but I'll see how it goes.

The issue with the project is the time, effort, space and potential powder keg with my wife of producing something of this scale. I think I've managed to formulate a modular structure so it can be disassembled for space, but even so... It's been a good few hours of thinking, visualising and imagining how to do it [I know you like to know how long things take]. When I'm trying to sleep on the way to work the concept pops into my head and I try and resolve issues but so far nothing except a few sketches has been done and they're not quite right.

I will potentially buy the wood I need at the weekend and see how I go but the other problem with this is it's yet another diversion from my Dark Angels and the Catch 22 is that if the AoP board does do well then I might offer to let them display it instore but then I won’t have an army to play with. If I get the Dark Angels done I will be able to let them have it but I will jeopardize getting the board done. It’s very much a logistical problem at the moment.

Currently I'm going to just see what I can do, no promises but it's more likely than not...40kaddicthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12763647828123242837noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7125294933155144215.post-15374449412915892612014-07-02T21:47:33.761+01:002014-07-02T21:47:33.761+01:00When I saw the confirmation that Armies on Parade,...When I saw the confirmation that Armies on Parade, I immediately thought of you.
